Tehran: Israel launched airstrikes against Iran and attacked sites in Natanz, Khorramabad, and Khondab, among others. Unconfirmed news of the assassination of General Salami, General Gholamali Rashid, Dr. Tehranchi, and Fereydoun Abbasi.

According to the reports, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major General Hossein Salami, was killed in the Israeli attack.

Several other senior IRGC commanders and nuclear scientists are also among those assassinated in the large-scale Israeli attack in Tehran and other provinces across the country.

Veteran nuclear scientists Mohammad-Mehdi Tehranchi and Fereydoon Abbasi have also been martyred in the attack, according to the state television IRIB.
