Mufti Qavi has once again made headlines, this time stirring up a storm with his remarks about marrying Rakhi Sawant. During a podcast with Muneezay Moeen, he praised Rakhi for her recent spiritual journey, including her Umrah pilgrimage and referred to her as a “respectable woman." He also commented on her desire to marry a Pakistani scholar, expressing his willingness to marry her. Still, with one condition: he would need to seek permission from his mother first. “If she permits me, then, because it is her command, you need to ask me before getting married," Mufti stated.

Known for his controversial statements, Mufti shifted the spotlight to Rakhi Sawant, suggesting he is open to marriage under his mother’s approval. During the same conversation, Mufti shared a personal anecdote about his past marriage to a woman from a distinguished family with ties to Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad and Quaid-e-Azam. He revealed that the marriage ended tragically with the untimely death of his wife.
